Were you whining when Obama was attacking the Clintons? Of course not I'm sure.

Re: Obama's (none / 0)

Obama plans to disenfranchise MI voters so I wouldn't count on him winning there.

Re: Obama's (none / 0)

This is a ridiculous statement.  The DNC made that decision and ALL the candidates pledged to abide by it.  Including Senator Clinton.  I suppose that means she was "for disenfranchisement before she was against it."

Re: Obama's (none / 0)

Hasn't he said that he won't seat their delegates? He's handing McCain a club to beat him over the head with.

Re: Obama's (none / 0)

Nope.  He's said that the delegates from states where the candidates were precluded from campaigning should not be dispositive in the nomination battle.  I have no doubt that the delegates will be seated provided that they don't decide the primary election.  And at this point, it's looking less likely that they'll be decisive.

Re: Obama's (none / 0)

Also, Senator Clinton was against having those delegates count until she lost early on.  Sort of makes it hard to countenance your argument that this issue is about anything more than a naked power grab.

Re: Obama's beats McCain in MI, Tied in (2.00 / 1)

Look, reasonable people can and do disagree about who would make the best candidate.  It's sort of pointless to worry about that now.  The important thing to remember is that EITHER Obama or Clinton will be a HUGE improvement over the last eight years and - with a united Democratic party - will defeat McCain in the Fall.

Re: Obama's beats McCain in MI (none / 0)

rssrai,

Questioning what Obama has done isn't being negative. Having doubts about him isn't being negative. The party at the end of the day will be fine. I'm sure Obama will get the HRC voters on his side when he locks it up (yes, I do think its over).

However, these are the key states for me, obviously keeping all of Kerry states and then Ohio, Florida, OR Missouri and Iowa. However, the way elections usually go.. if Obama is able to get a win in Missouri, I think he'll likely win Ohio because the wave usually will lead things towards one direction.
